Adrian Critchley is the Managing Director of Rock Solid Deliveries.

He’s been in the courier industry for over 25 years – first as a driver and then as a manager – so it’s fair to say that what he doesn’t know about deliveries isn’t worth knowing. But what keeps him going after spending so long in this industry?

‘In this kind of work, no two days are the same and you have to be on your toes to keep up with customer’s needs and sometimes challenging deliveries. I still enjoy meeting those challenges, even after all this time.’

‘All deliveries are important, but one that sticks in my mind was delivering a course of treatment for a lady who was on IVF. She only had a window of about 30 minutes to use the treatment, so we had to time everything spot on, from collection to delivery. So the logistics were a challenge and the goods were incredibly important. It was a privilege to help with something that could literally change someone’s life.’
