Taken For A Ride?

 

It’s great to have the opportunity to help with a project that really makes a difference. And when a customer asked us to help with the logistics for a charity bike ride, of course we said yes.

Gary needed us to carry his team’s luggage for each the last two days of their ride, from Penrith to Hawick and from Hawick to Edinburgh, collecting the bags at the start in the morning and dropping them at the overnight stop. Gary requested early collections each day, as the team wanted to be on the road as soon as they could. So, an early collection it was: on both days, the same day courier arrived before 8am. The team had a tough but successful ride, raising some vital funds for cancer charities, and naturally we gave the team a discounted rate to help with their fundraising efforts.
