Time is Tight

Sometimes, even a same-day delivery isn’t quick enough! Earlier this month, we had just two hours to save the day for one particular customer.

Penny has a visual merchandising business and was excited to be working on the opening of a coffee shop in Birmingham. But as is always the way with these things, the preparations for the opening didn’t quite go according to plan. The shop needed a sign, which had somehow been left in London. So Penny had just a couple of hours to get this all-important sign from London to Birmingham, to make the coffee shop look professional and inviting and to get the opening event going in style. The race was on.

She called Rock Solid Deliveries and explained the situation, and we had a same day courier on his way immediately. The courier put his foot down (while keeping to the speed limit, obviously) and used all his experience and ingenuity to get the sign to Penny in time for the opening. He arrived with minutes to spare and the opening was a big success for all concerned.
